Clinical Care Coordinator — Registered Nurse (Div 1)  
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Care Coordinator (RN1) to work mornings, evenings, on-call and weekends. Working at our Kilsyth site on a part-time basis, you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical issues as per Standard 2 in the Aged Care Accreditation Standards. We are looking for a highly experienced Care Manager (RN1) to work full-time at our Carrum Downs facility.

The Role:

SharePoint Administrator

MiCare is looking for a part-time SharePoint Administrator. The role will provide skills and experience to administer the SharePoint environment with MiCare. This will require a self-motivated individual committed to delivering solutions that drive success. The SharePoint Administrator will work collaboratively with service areas to plan, develop and drive the use of SharePoint within the organisation as the primary internal communication platform and Document Management System.

The role requires providing leadership, assistance and direction on SharePoint solutions that provide efficiencies and enhances client outcomes in line with MiCare's policies and procedures. This position is responsible for Microsoft SharePoint Administration, ongoing development and deployment of new features, technical and user support, training and mentoring.

The Role:

  • Lead the development, review and implementation of document management
  • Increase awareness and usage of SharePoint document management across the organisation
  • Manage SharePoint related projects through to completion in with agreed timeframes

The Role:

Team Leaders in Settlement Services (two roles on offer)

We are looking for two part time Team Leaders for the Settlement area. A Team Leader, Settlement Services, West, Inner Melbourne and Southern region and a Team Leader, Settlement Services, Outer West.

The primary objective of the positions is to support the implementation and coordination of the Settlement programs to equip eligible clients in the West, Inner Melbourne and Southern Metropolitan Region, to address their identified settlement needs in order to improve their social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being and community connectedness more broadly.

The Team Leader is responsible for the provision and monitoring of high quality settlement services including, intake and referral, case management, group work initiatives and stakeholder engagement. The Team Leader also supports the Manager with contract compliance and budget. The position operates within MiCare’s Settlement Services team. The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing services that support the settlement journey of eligible clients.

Ensure the provision of high quality settlement services to support eligible clients’ journey towards improving social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being and community connectedness. With a particular focus on the 3 Es (employment readiness, engagement with education and training, and activities that facilitate the acquisition of English language)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and evaluate settlement programs, ensuring appropriateness for clients.
  • Provide support and practice advice to staff in various aspects of service provision including; intake, case management, group work and information sessions. 
  • Undertake casework and group work within the position as required. 
  • In collaboration with staff, initiate and implement responsive group-work activities, aimed at increasing the community connection and capacity of newly arrived individuals, their families and communities during the settlement process. This includes but not limited to information sessions and consultations.
  • Ensure Settlement programs reflect the relevant National Settlement Standards and Frameworks.  Apply relevant evidence based best practice to improve service delivery.
  • Monitor KPI’s and activity against targets, and in consultation with Manager, take corrective action when necessary
  • Liaise and report to Manager around all aspects Settlement Services delivery and provide reports as required within timeframes.  Work with Manager to manage programs within budget.
  • Identify opportunities for additional funding to support service delivery areas.  Assist staff to apply for funding, adhere to funding body requirements, manage and monitor budgets, execute planned activities, and provide final reports and financial acquittals
  • Develop and maintain respectful relationships with key referral agencies, community groups and leaders and potential project partners in the region in order to improve service coordination and referral, avoid duplication and improve local collaboration
  • Attend local network meetings and forums and advocate for the needs of eligible clients
  • Respond to, and oversee, critical incidents and complaints as required. Adhere to mandatory reporting and children safety strategies.  Ensure and promote safe work practices, procedures and instruction
  • Oversee and maintain client record and data management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation at all times.  Adhere to, and contribute to, the development and review of MiCare policies and procedures
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are fulfilled as per funding body’s requirements
  • Provide day-to-day site management across designated region, including oversight of administrative, staffing, and operational matters, responding to crises as needed.

Your Qualifications:

Appropriate Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other relevant human/social sciences.

We are looking for a full time Community Engagement Officer located at Footscray. The primary objective of the position is to empower new and emerging, asylum seeker and migrant community groups and organisations to support their specific communities. The Community Engagement Officer will also support the Team Leader with contract compliance and budgets. The position operates within MiCare’s Settlement Capacity Building programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective links with newly arrived refugee and asylum seeker community groups in the target region.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including settlement staff, refugee and asylum seeker community groups, key partners, and Councils to facilitate the planning and development of a broad range of initiatives that respond to community needs and aspirations.
  • Undertake needs assessment to identify and respond to emerging community needs in partnership with other agencies.

  • Support development and delivery of networking / partnership opportunities between new and emerging community groups.
  • Respond to requests from service providers, community organisations and local government seeking information relating to refugee and asylum seeker communities including statistical data and settlement needs
  • Maintain a database and email distribution list of key community leaders and representatives 
  • Collect and maintain all required evidence, group services statistical information and prepare reports as required by various funding agreements
  • Administer grant funding requirements from the State and Federal Governments and other funding sources
  • Assist the Team Leader to explore new initiatives and innovative ideas capable of improving service provisions in community development.
  • Assist the Team Leader,  by monitoring grant funding opportunities
  • Administer grant application including reports and acquittals
  • Ensure that the Manager and Team Leader are kept fully informed of activities.
  • Work with Team Leader to manage programs within budget
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation at all times
  • Ensure and promote safe work practices, procedures and instructions
  • Monitor and report all incidents and hazards as required by organisation and funding bodies
  • Assist in the preparation of funding submissions and applications relevant to improving access to services and the community capacity building of newly arrived refugee communities.

  • Provide formal and task supervision to students, such as social work and community development students on placement as well as volunteers.

ACFI Coordinator (RN DIV 1)

We are looking for a full time experienced ACFI Coordinator (RN Div1) to provide leadership, guidance and expertise within residential services in Victoria, by coordinating and overseeing ACFI appraisals across each aged care facility to improve and maintain the performance of these entities and meet the strategic objectives of MiCare.
