Overbeek Lodge & Margriet Manor

Overbeek Lodge and Margriet Manor, both located 36 KM from Melbourne’s CBD in Kilsyth, are smaller, traditional, and very homely aged care residences. With 55 and 45 private suites respectively, all provide ensuite bathrooms. The suites in Overbeek Lodge and Margriet Manor are also located across a number of smaller households, each with its own lounge and intimate dining options. Situated side-by-side, the homes complement each other and enable the Elders to visit and mingle as well as enjoy the offerings at both homes. Our Kilsyth homes also continue to welcome new Elders from diverse backgrounds into our community.

The increased need for Aged Care Services locally has provided an opportunity to reopen our Waterlily household in Margriet Manor.  Waterlily consists of 15 private rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, and with the capacity to support those Elders with higher levels of care needs. The reopening of Waterlily Household provides us the opportunity to meet the growing needs of the local community as well as continue to provide our Elders with the care and support they require as needs change.

Families’ responses to tours of Overbeek Lodge and Margriet Manor have also been very complimentary. From the smaller and homely atmosphere to the in-home hairdresser, café and of course the wonderful menu filling the homes with aroma. Again, the friendly staff work in dedicated households to ensure a friendly and familiar face and continuity of care for our Elders each day. The resident pets can often be seen lounging on the couch and family pets are welcome for visits.

It is always a pleasure to meet with families and assist them with Aged Care Placement for their loved ones. Our goal is to make their Aged Care journey less stressful and ensure accurate, easy-to-understand information is provided. We endeavor to match each and every Elder with a Household that will meet their individual care and social needs as well as provide a safe, comfortable living environment.
