Most recently we have commenced a 7 week version of this program for members within the newly arrived Syriac community. The program runs at St Albans Community Centre on Thursday evenings and has received crucial funding and support through the Brimbank Council community grants program and the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Multicultural Affairs and Social Cohesion.
Participants were aged between 10 and 21 and were referred by MiCare, Western Young People’s Independent Network, Westerns Bulldogs Community Foundation, Spectrum, Brimbank Youth Services, and Maribyrnong Youth Services.
