About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will support older people to live safely and independently in their own homes. Your role may include:
- Helping clients with domestic activities such as light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Assisting clients by collecting groceries
- Unqualified care workers do not provide personal care such as showering and dressing, or participate in any activities which require transport of the client

Care Worker Qualities
- A passion for working with older people
- Understanding and respectful approach to the individual needs of clients and residents
- Great communication skills to deliver person centered care
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team for the better outcome of the clients and residents

What You Need to Bring

- A caring, respectful and reliable attitude
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card)
- National Police Check
- The right to work in Australia
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Optional)
