On 26th March 2025,  a Free food pop-up market was held at Overbeek Lodge.  It was a great initiative from the Montrose Community Cupboard, which approached us with the idea.

Employees from our homes in Kilsyth and village residents were all welcomed. It was a great success, and we had a wonderful turnout. Bread, fruit, flowers, biscuits, and chocolates proved popular items. Moving forward, we hope to hold these markets regularly.  It was a great opportunity to provide elders with autonomy, choice and a feeling of being part of community.
