20 May 2020
Yesterday on the 19 May 2020, MiCare had two Elders tested for COVID-19 at our Kilsyth homes, Overbeek Lodge and Margriet Manor. Today I am pleased to report that both tests have come back negative. As from today, we have removed enhanced visiting restrictions.
The Elders are comfortable and well and continue to receive quality care by our skilled and qualified staff.
We are entering into the cold and flu season and should Elders display such symptoms, they will be tested when instructed by their GP. As a precaution, we are expecting to be testing continuously for COVID-19 during the winter months to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Elders.
We are totally committed to quality care and will continue being on maximum alert for COVID-19 for the foreseeable future.
