The Role:

Home Care Support Workers (Mandarin/Cantonese speaking)

We have a number of Chinese clients who prefer to have a care worker who understands their culture and speaks their language. We are committed to ensure that the MiCare client’s quality of life is enhanced through their relationship with MiCare. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enhance MiCare’s position as a provider of choice particularly for migrant communities.

Location: Bentleigh and surrounding suburbs

The Role:

Home Care Advisor/Case Manager    

We are looking for an experienced Aged Care Home Care Advisor to further develop and grow our Home Care Package business in Brisbane and surrounding areas. While we are well established in Brisbane particularly with the veteran population as we have clients as far as north Caloundra.

Location: Birkdale

Hours: 22.8 hours over 3 or 4 days

The Role:

We are looking for two chefs based at Prins Willem Alexander in Birkdale, Queensland.

Location: Birkdale, Queensland

Hours: 38 hours (both roles are full time hours, Monday to Friday)  

A key function of the Pastry Chef is to expand the dessert and pastry range within our business.

The Role:

Social Support Coordinator

The person we are looking for will be able to work with volunteers and clients, have demonstrated interest in culturally and linguistically diverse services, strong interpersonal skills and excellent administration skills.

You will have the ability work independently and in a team environment, exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate information and in a timely fashion.

The Role:

Admissions Officer (full-time)

We are looking for an experienced full-time Admissions Officer based in our Carrum Downs site to support the management team in the assessment of future residents and clients for all MiCare services. The successful candidate would assist older persons by providing information and advice regarding accessing residential, community or another appropriate service.

The Role:

ACFE ESL Tutor (casual)

We are looking for a casual ACFE ESL Tutor to contribute to the planning and delivery, language, literacy and numeracy training at MiCare’s Werribee office site. The program includes Pre-accredited English as a Second Language (ESL) aligned to the Department of Education Pre-Accredited Quality Framework. 

Location: Werribee, Victoria

Hours: 2.5 hours per week (total of 20 weeks, not including school holidays)

The tutor would be required (but not limited) to complete the following tasks:

The Role:

Senior Family Violence Prevention Officer (full-time)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Family Violence Prevention Officer with strong community engagement and project management skills as well as a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics and impact of family violence.

The Senior Family Violence Prevention Officer is responsible to the General Manager of Aged and Community Care and will be required to coordinate and implement the Safer and Strong Communities pilot project in Melbourne’s West.

Location: Western suburbs, Melbourne

Hours: full-time position

The person: 

This exciting pilot project will develop new approaches to better understand what works to prevent violence in culturally diverse communities and will contribute to building the evidence base around violence prevention to benefit future generations.

This is a full-time position with a maximum 2 year contract period.

This position will require a self-motivated individual committed to delivering solutions that drive success. The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with service areas to plan, develop, drive and evaluate information technology projects to enhance efficiency and improve technology projects to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery. The role requires providing leadership, assistance and direction on technical solutions that provide efficiencies and enhances client outcomes.
