Humanitarian Settlement Services are provided across the western, inner city and southern regions of Melbourne. Clients are supported through a co-ordinated case management model, to assist them to settle.
We help clients in the initial six to twelve month period from their date of arrival. Our dedicated Settlement Team works closely with individuals, families and a range of service providers to help establish the basic foundation of a new life in Australia.

A feature of MiCare’s network is that once clients are ready to move beyond our Humanitarian Settlement Services, they can still be part of our broader Settlement Services Program. This continuation of service means the trust and rapport they have with MiCare’s team can be extended and utilised to help their progress. Many of our clients continue on with tertiary study, skills training and entry into the workforce.
